Subject: quitting alcohol

I have a question: after many years of evening drinking, my husband is quitting alcohol. He's down to one glass of wine before bed, which he drinks, because he says he constantly jumps partially awake for about 3 hours after he goes to bed. It wakes me up too. Is there some other way, besides a glass of alcohol, to help him to sleep without the "twitchies"? If you could post an answer with my name in the subject line, I will be checking back. thank you

However his associate is a very laid back understanding gentlemen that will gladly help you and do waht ever he can to get you through your program and on your way to new things. Furthermore The boss man in charge likes to make your life hell and have you walking on eggshells probably due to a lack of testosterone hes not getting replenished at home. So if you enjoy working with a cold hearted mal adjusted whipped guy who doesnt know his head from his ass this is your place.

HE IS NOW IN NORTHERN CA AND WE ARE WORKING TO GET HIM TO THE BEACH CITIES (home) in order to get him the help he needs, duel diagnoised in my opinion and my heart aches for his recovery. The men who are in transitional housing programs such as the HOPWA house in Long Beach and Positive Steps in Downey are not in a primary drug program. They are much more free to come and go. In the Federal CSAT program who follow the same regulations i.e. Cider House, Foley House etc. these programs will not allow clients to have cell phones in primary treament. Once the client transitions to a clean and sober program, then cell phones are allowed. I'm sorry it seems unfair.

I have a consern about the women at your Positive Steps program in Downey. It seems as though they are being discriminted agenced. The male in the program are allowed more privalliges then the women. One concern is the fact that the women are not aload cell phones and have to use a payphone, yet the men are aload cell phones and have a house phone that they are able to use. I use to be a client at Positive Steps now I have graduated sucessfully. I just know how expensive it is to be calling using that payphone. And I never got the point of that rule it seems wrong.
